DIPLOMA IN HOMEOPATHIC MEDICINE AND MEDICAL SCIENCES
You’ve chosen a career that grants you the ability to make a difference maintaining the health of others. Treating the human body is not to be taken lightly. It is an art and requires skill, competence and commitment to succeed. At NMCH, we pride ourselves on creating the readiness of our students to embark on their new career with confidence, knowledge, capability and proficiency.
We will prepare you to be a healthcare practitioner who can comfortably communicate with medical personnel, understand medical terminology, interpret laboratory reports and feel confident upon graduating that you can run a Homeopathic healthcare clinic.
So why is our program 4 years in length and other homeopathic programs in Ontario only 3 years?
NMCH is very medically focused and offers an exceptional level of standard and education. We offer extensive training in a variety of medical sciences which we believe are imperative to your success as a master practitioner. Not only is our curriculum set to meet the competencies outlined by the regulated College of Homeopaths of Ontario but we also follow the educational guidelines and standards set by Homeopathic Medical Colleges in India and Europe where Homeopaths are Medical Doctors and Surgeons and are positioned in Hospitals. It is our duty to ensure that you complete your homeopathic education feeling confident to begin your practice.
NMCH is the only Homeopathic College in Ontario that trains students on updated medical subjects such as the Practice of Medicine, Integrative Medicine, Gynaecology and Obstetrics. You’ll be able to make a homeopathic diagnosis and know what to treat and what not to treat in a patient. Interpreting laboratory reports is important as a regulated healthcare practitioner, documenting your findings accurately is also important along with administering patient treatment within the scope of homeopathic practice.
In addition, students are required to complete the programs clinical internship. Our clinic is run as such that not only do you observe master homeopaths at work but that you too will treat live patients. You also have the opportunity to observe homeopathic specialists at clinics within the GTA. NMCH offers more than 1500 hours of clinical training making a total of 5000 hours of homeopathic training. No other college offers this in Ontario.
Why study with NMCH?

-
NMCH focuses on medical education
-
NMCH does not believe in online training as we believe a medical education which involves treating patients cannot be taught online. It requires hands on training.
-
NMCH offers 5000 hours of training.
-
NMCH believes 3 years of training is inadequate for a student to become a successful homeopath as that length of time is insufficient to offer a significant quality education. We believe quality education.
